Legal Compliance Manager - Suffolk

A leading law firm in Suffolk is seeking a highly skilled Legal Compliance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of regulations, including SRA Codes of Conduct and GDPR.

About the Role

  • Oversee risk and compliance initiatives, reporting to the COLP and COFA.
  • Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct training sessions and audits to promote a culture of compliance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for compliance queries and provide expert guidance.
  • Mentor junior team members and represent the firm at external events.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the firm meets regulatory responsibilities, including anti-money laundering and GDPR. This will involve developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures, conducting training sessions and audits, and serving as the primary contact for compliance queries.
