We offer an attractive salary package including £15,700 in Year 1, progressing each year to £25,000 in Year 4, subject to satisfactory performance. Job Description

You will be working as an Apprentice Field Forklift Engineer with the Briggs Equipment Group, responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment. Your primary duties will include shadowing experienced engineers, performing tasks under supervision, and gaining independent practical experience. You will have the opportunity to work on customer premises and at our workshop locations within your specified region.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively with customers and other team members. A basic understanding of health and safety principles, IT skills, and enthusiasm for engineering are essential. Additionally, you should be comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather conditions and able to complete manual labour and administrative tasks.
