Job Title: IT Manager Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at Impact Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service providers and suppliers to optimize IT support, providing coaching and training to the local helpdesk support, and providing support to the service desk for European users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of service providers and suppliers to optimize IT support.
  • Providing coaching and training to the local helpdesk support.
  • Providing support to the service desk for European users.
  • Daily monitoring of support tickets, including assigning and monitoring timely completion.
  • Conducting regular audits of the system and ensuring regular checks of the network are completed, to keep it safe and secure.
  • Management of and participation in IT Projects.
  • Responsibility for the IT infrastructure (hardware and software) including break-fix, troubleshooting and installation.
  • Creation and maintenance of service documentation.
  • Ensuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable law, codes and regulations.

About You:

  • You must have a qualification in Computer science and/or Business Informatics, or completed training as an IT specialist, or Comparable professional training and verifiable knowledge acquired in practice.
  • You must be an organised individual who can work independently, in a structured, careful and results driven manner.
  • You must be a strong communicator, both in person and remotely.
  • You must have a good knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office, Microsoft Server, Active Directory and Virtualization.
  • You must have a strong knowledge of network technology, firewalling and cross site networking.
  • You must have knowledge of network security.
  • You must have additional skills in software distribution and managing Microsoft Client Systems.
