Deputy Manager Job Description

Service Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in a new Children's Home in Wellingborough.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the Children's Home, ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Liaising with other departments and external agencies to provide young people with appropriate plans, programs, and support to aid their rehabilitation into the community.
  • Coaching, supporting, and developing staff to maximize their performance and ensure high standards of care, values, ethical standards, equality, and diversity.
  • Assisting in budget preparation and managing and controlling budgets to meet financial parameters.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Managerial experience within a similar environment.
  • At least 2 years of residential care experience.
  • A full driving license.
  • An enhanced DBS.
