About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team at CRG. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for managing the full procurement process from order processing to receipting goods in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures. Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Supplier Management: Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and arrange for product samples. Maintain positive relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers as needed.
  • Engineering Support: Support the wider operational team, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to our fast-paced environment and ensure we deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Stock Management: Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are maintained in our warehouse and engineering van stock. Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Cost Management: Monitor procurement budgets and assist in cost-saving initiatives. Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best options among potential suppliers.
  • Warehouse Management: Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy, complying with health and safety regulations. Support the management of recycled goods, ensuring items are recycled where possible in line with our sustainability policy.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze procurement reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Assist in preparing reports for management review.
