Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Night Nurse to join our team at Derwentside Immigration Removal Centre. As a key member of our Primary Care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions.
  • Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
  • Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse-led clinics to your patient group, supported by a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Registered nurse Adult NMC.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
  • Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
