Lead Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in Lancaster

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Lancaster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide expert clinical leadership and supervision to the CAMHS team.
  • To work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to children and adolescents with mental health issues.
  • To participate in the development and implementation of service strategies to improve patient outcomes.
About the Role:

This is a full-time (10PA) position based at Altham Meadows in Morecambe. The postholder will be expected to participate in the Consultant On Call rota, for which additional remuneration will be payable.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer an attractive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and paid annual leave.

The post also includes a relocation package, as well as opportunities for career development and professional growth.

Location and Travel:

The post is based at Altham Meadows in Morecambe, a beautiful coastal town in Lancashire. We are committed to supporting our staff with their travel arrangements, and we offer a car parking facility on site.
