Job Title: Executive Chinese Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chinese Chef to join our team at DO & CO. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Chinese production kitchen and supporting our Executive Chefs in delivering exceptional quality and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Chinese production kitchen and ensure consistent quality products are produced in line with DO & CO standards.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef team to ensure that all kitchen operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Manage and support the Chinese Kitchen team to maintain high-quality standards in staff performance, food production, and presentation service procedures.
  • Plan production to the daily schedule and ensure exceptional quality is maintained at its highest level with maximum efficiency in accordance with DO & CO regulations.
  • Ensure all kitchen appliances are kept clean and well-maintained and report any issues to the Head Chef.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure specifications are met on raw materials and finished products.
  • Ensure the correct cleaning and sanitizing chemicals are used in compliance with EHO standards in the kitchen and take corrective action as required.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of Chinese Cuisine and passion for cooking authentic Chinese food.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in food quality.
  • Excellent knife skills and ability to handle raw fish safely.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
