Job Title: Executive Chinese Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chinese Chef to join our team at DO & CO Airline Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Chinese production kitchen and supporting our Executive Chefs in delivering exceptional quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Chinese production kitchen and ensure consistent quality products are produced following DO & CO requirements.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef team to maintain high standards of food production and presentation.
  • Manage and support the Chinese Kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Plan production to the daily schedule and maintain exceptional quality with maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure all kitchen appliances are clean and well-maintained, and report any issues to the Head Chef.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure specifications are met on raw materials and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with all SOP's, Critical Control Points, Health and Safety, Food safety, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Passion for cooking authentic Chinese food.
  • Extensive knowledge of Chinese Cuisine.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in food quality.
  • Excellent knife skills and ability to handle raw fish safely.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
