Job Title: Executive Chinese Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chinese Chef to join our team at DO & CO Airline Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Chinese production kitchen and supporting the Executive Chefs in our unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Chinese production kitchen and ensure consistent quality products are produced following DO & CO requirements.
  • Manage and support the Chinese Kitchen team, maintaining high quality standards in staff performance, food production, and presentation service procedures.
  • Plan production to the daily schedule, ensuring exceptional quality is maintained at its highest level with maximum efficiency in accordance with DO & CO regulations.
  • Ensure operations adhere to all SOP's, Critical Control Points, Health and Safety, Food safety, and all legal requirements.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure specifications are met on raw materials and finished products.
Requirements:
  • Passion for cooking authentic Chinese food.
  • Extensive knowledge of Chinese Cuisine.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in food quality.
  • Excellent knife skills and ability to handle raw fish safely.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
