Energy Transition Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Energy Transition Originator to join our team in Germany. As an Energy Transition Originator, you will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing energy transition transactions in the German market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the execution of new transactions and cooperate with internal support and risk teams to obtain all necessary approvals.
  • Originate and structure energy transition transactions in the German market, including renewable PPA, battery, flex generation, green certificates, and corporate PPA.
  • Build out a profitable portfolio of energy transition transactions and develop a strong network of clients and counterparties in Germany.
  • Manage client relationships and stay up-to-date with new developments and regulatory changes in the energy transition market.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in execution or management of PPA transactions in Germany.
  • Knowledge of the German Power Market and forecasting/optimisation strategies.
  • Excellent influencing skills and fluency in German and English.
