Energy Transition Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Energy Transition Originator to join our team in Germany. As an Energy Transition Originator, you will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing energy transition transactions in the German market.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the execution of new transactions and collaborate with internal support and risk teams to obtain necessary approvals.
- Originate and structure energy transition transactions in the German market, including renewable PPA, battery, flex generation, green certificates, and corporate PPA.
- Build a pipeline of energy transition opportunities and develop a network of clients and counterparties in Germany.
- Manage client relationships and ensure effective communication with internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with new developments and regulatory changes in the energy transition market and communicate this information internally.
- Previous experience in execution or management of PPA transactions in Germany.
- Knowledge of the German Power Market and forecasting/optimisation strategies.
- Excellent influencing skills and fluency in German and English.
- Ability to travel to/from Germany on a regular basis.
