Racial Justice Training and Resources Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to develop and implement a racial justice training pathway within The Church of England. This role will involve evaluating and enhancing existing training programs, delivering training to parishes and diocesan staff, and identifying resource needs for a variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and enhance the current Unconscious Bias training program
  • Deliver racial justice training to parishes and diocesan staff
  • Develop a 'Train the Trainers' approach and support the training of parish leaders and diocesan staff
  • Identify training and resource needs for a variety of stakeholders
  • Research and identify new models to be incorporated into the training pathway
  • Liaise with other dioceses and the national church to learn from and seek best practice
  • Work with other members of the department to establish a coordinated training program
  • Develop and maintain an evaluation process for training
  • Be an advocate for racial justice within diocesan structures

Requirements:

  • Experience in adult education and learning
  • Passion for racial justice and equality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
