About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our client's team. As a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering NPI team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and efficiency in electronics manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align NPI strategy with internal teams and suppliers to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Assist in the design and test of various electro-mechanical fixtures and test equipment.
- Take the lead in developing production documentation and inject expertise into design reviews to ensure products are built to the highest standards.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and ensure contract manufacturers are always a step ahead.
- Manage the NPI industrialization process, from process mapping to troubleshooting, ensuring smooth transitions from concept to production.
- Design and support production setups, implement engineering changes, and analyze data to keep the company at the forefront of the industry.
Requirements:
- Desirable: degree or apprenticeship in electronics manufacturing, coupled with 3 years of hands-on experience.
- Ideal: proficiency in C#/LabVIEW/software development, and desirable understanding of electronic schematics and circuits.
- Experience of New Product Introduction and testing electro-mechanical fixtures.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of quality processes like 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
