Job Summary

The Warehouse Agent is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. This includes accurate receiving, loading, storing, and executing shipment orders. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail and organizational skills.

Inbound Freight:

The Warehouse Agent will be responsible for counting all products, taking weight, and comparing to manifest to ensure accuracy. They will also be responsible for reporting any discrepancies, including shortages, damages, and overages. If assigned, the Warehouse Agent must be a qualified forklift driver and will be responsible for unloading inbound shipments safely and moving product to assigned storage locations.

Storage:

The Warehouse Agent will be responsible for maximizing space usage and properly storing items on racks, locations, and ready rows using our company system and scripts.

Cargo Handling:

The Warehouse Agent will ensure that the correct number and type of product are being handled, and will transport orders to shipping locations or assigned doors with material handling equipment. They will also review markings, address, and ensure correct reference labels are on the cargo.

Outbound Freight:

The Warehouse Agent will compare quantity, labeling, and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct. They will also sign necessary documents to ensure record keeping and will efficiently move product into outbound delivery vehicles.

Facility / Equipment:

The Warehouse Agent will maintain equipment and ensure warehouse areas are neat, clean of debris, and in an orderly fashion. They will operate equipment safely and efficiently and comply with all local, OSHA, and Expeditors' standards.

Inventory:

The Warehouse Agent will keep accurate records and reports, and will assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. They may also key inventory adjustments into our company system.

Work includes manually handling boxes/freight on a regular basis as part of inbound freight receiving.Manual sortation of freight at PO and SKU levelLoading and unloading manually of Trailers and containers

Qualifications

***Successful Applicant must have counterbalance licence as a minimum preferred bendy / pivot steer***

6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceEffective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive resultsPro-active, strong organisational skillsGood computer skills (Excel, Word)Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)Fluent in English
