Job Title: Band 5 Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of our emergency department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our services.

About the Role:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients and their families in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring patient needs are met and exceeded.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of our patients and services.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience in a relevant clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing situations.
