Job Title: Band 5 Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of our emergency department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

About the Role:
  • Provide emergency treatment and ongoing medical care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, take blood, and perform patient observations as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of post-graduate experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in emergency nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
