Job Title: Band 5 Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of our emergency department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

About the Role:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients and their families in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring patient needs are met and exceeded.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years post-graduate experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with a focus on emergency care.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
