We are seeking a Sales Development Manager UK North to drive business growth in the Industrial and Fenestration Manufacturing sector. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients.

We are the UK subsidiary of a well-established European Group that supplies a broad range of CNC, saws, and cutting equipment to aluminium and PVC companies within the fenestration industry.

This individual will play a pivotal part in developing new business in the Industrial and Fenestration Manufacturing sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Developing end-user sales for the fenestration industry, Building Services Contractors, and the industrial sector;
  2. Managing the accounts of existing customers in these sectors;
  3. Developing new business by building new end-user customer relationships;
  4. Optimising channel management for the appropriate markets, working with colleagues to ensure our client's brand is at the forefront of all machine purchase decisions;
  5. Securing a primary supplier listing for manufacturing equipment with our customers;
  6. Achieving the sales budget for the region;
  7. Adopting solution selling skills to secure new business;
  8. Providing advice/product solutions to the end user.

The ideal candidate will possess:
  1. Highly motivated and a reliable self-starter;
  2. Experience in selling into the fenestration market (or similar);
  3. Some technical understanding required, although full training will be given;
  4. Strong and confident knowledge of products;
  5. Proven skills in developing customer relationships;
  6. Ability to turn customer problems into solutions;
  7. Comfortable with 'cold calling' activities;
  8. Hold a full, clean driving licence;
  9. Prioritising, time management, and organisational skills;
  10. Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs;
  11. Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.

We offer a competitive salary package including:
  • a basic salary dependent upon competencies and experience (£40k-£45k);
  • uncapped commission;
  • a fully expensed company car commensurate with the position;
  • 25 days annual leave;
  • flexible working hours to meet company requirements;
  • hybrid/field-based role across the North of the UK.

Estimated salary: £65,000+
