Research Associate in Perovskite Solar Cells

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our team at Imperial College London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in materials chemistry and spectroscopy, with research experience in the fabrication and characterization of perovskite solar cells.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in the fabrication and spectroscopic characterization of perovskite films and solar cells
  • Develop and implement new techniques for data collection and analysis
  • Ensure the validity and reliability of data at all times
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all findings
  • Present findings to colleagues and at conferences
  • Contribute to the supervision of research and undergraduate students
  • Manage external collaborations

Requirements:

  • PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related discipline
  • Practical experience in processing of perovskite films and solar cell devices
  • Experience in transient optical spectroscopy
  • Practical experience in perovskite chemistry
  • Knowledge of photophysics of solar cell materials
