Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Support Worker in a residential setting. The successful candidate will be based at a service that provides nursing care to older adults, and will be responsible for supporting individuals to maintain a healthy state of wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in positive communication and engagement, and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for all service users. They will work alongside members of the person's support circle to empower individuals to be happy, healthy, and successful in achieving their life goals.
Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation that provides high-quality, person-centred support to people with physical disabilities, mental health needs, learning disabilities and other support needs. We are committed to your continuous professional development, and the successful candidate will receive a full local and corporate induction, as well as opportunities for training and development.
The role will involve working in a flexible manner, on a roster basis, which will include evenings and weekends. Previous experience is not essential, but the successful candidate will need to have a can-do attitude and be willing to embrace all aspects of the role.
