About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in Dover. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading our residential service and supporting individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of Support Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the service, including allocation of shifts, training, and supervision.
  • Support individuals with their daily lives, including managing finances, medication, and personal care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the service meets regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or equivalent role.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviors.
