We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Felbrigg House. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and career, with access to a range of training and development opportunities. You will work closely with our experienced team to provide high-quality care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and oversee the smooth running of a shift
  • Ensure the wellbeing of all service users
  • Respond to any challenges or concerns
  • Supervise support staff
  • Organise activities and administer medication
  • Communicate with families and professionals
  • Oversee daily reports and budgets
  • Complete financial audits and H&S checks

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Senior Support Worker or extensive care experience from a learning disability and autism residential setting
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Leadership skills and experience
  • Strong empathy and a caring and compassionate nature
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviours
  • Positive and professional approach
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic
