Job Description:
About the RoleThis is a temporary opportunity to coordinate building assets within a local authority environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing statutory testing, undertaking asbestos management, and working with colleagues to ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities- Manage statutory testing for all local authority buildings.
- Undertake asbestos management and ensure the Authority does not breach regulations.
- Work with colleagues to manage compliance of buildings with contractual terms of tenancy agreements.
- Implement Health & Safety responsibilities.
- A minimum of HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in Construction / Building Assets discipline.
- Extensive knowledge of Asbestos, Construction, Building Surveying, CDM, Clerk of Works duties, Mansafe Systems, Safety Glazing.
- Asbestos P402 and/or P405 qualification.
