About the Role

This is a specialist role focused on revenue accounting within the housing sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in this area and be seeking a good work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive financial performance
  • Preparation and monitoring of monthly budget monitoring reports to ensure financial accuracy
  • Providing financial advice and producing financial and management reports to support business decisions
  • Completion of grant claims and statistical returns to meet regulatory requirements
  • Authorising reports for financial implications and taking ownership of revenue accounting aspects of the finance team

What You'll Need

Prior experience of Housing Revenue, ideally gained in a local government or housing provider organisation. Fully CCAB qualified or qualified by experience with housing revenue experience is essential. The successful candidate will enjoy building internal relationships with non-finance staff and leadership teams.
