Job Title: Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist to join our Paediatric Gastroenterology Psychology team at Evelina London Children's Hospital.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessment and treatment to children and young people with gastroenterological difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological assessment and treatment to children and young people with gastroenterological difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  • Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions
  • Conduct research and audit to improve service delivery
  • Supervise and train junior staff members
Requirements:
  • Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology or a related field
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience of working with children and young people with physical health problems
  • Knowledge of psychological interventions and their application in different cultural contexts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
