Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Respiratory Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, responsive, specialist respiratory community physiotherapy services to patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in their homes or other appropriate locations.

Main Duties
  • Responsible for the physiotherapy component of the Berkshire West Community Based Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme
  • Accept autonomous clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of patients with COPD, providing high-quality, specialist respiratory community physiotherapy services
  • Responsible for prioritizing and monitoring referrals to the physiotherapy service for patients with COPD
Requirements
  • Registered Physiotherapist with HCPC registration
  • Post-graduate experience of working as part of a physiotherapy team and multidisciplinary team in Respiratory Medicine and/or Pulmonary Rehabilitation
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who possesses the following qualities:

  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registration
  • CSP membership
  • Member of the ACPRC
