As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading factory teams to deliver the production plan efficiently, safely, and within budget, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily production processes and oversee safe starts for operatives and subcontractors.
  • Ensure communication is used to ensure production expectations and schedules are met.
  • Identify and fulfill training requirements for the production team.
  • Collaborate with other departments for timely material and subcontractor availability.
  • Conduct daily briefings and ensure compliance with quality control standards.
  • Maintain progress records and manage production plan changes.
  • Monitor and control performance metrics (time, productivity, cost, quality, H&S, carbon reduction).
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing production team.

Requirements:

  • Experience with MMC, assembly line manufacturing, steel fabricating, light gauge steel assembly, joinery, and dry lining.
  • Proficiency with operating plant and machinery, and power tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and safety, quality management, and first aid.
  • Strong understanding of production management principles.
