Academic Mentor for Students with SEN

Academic Mentor for Students with SEN: Join our team at Teaching Personnel and make a lasting impact on the lives of students with special educational needs. We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a supportive school in Colchester.
In this role, you will provide individualized support to a student, helping them to navigate academic challenges and develop essential life skills. You will work closely with the teaching staff to identify areas where the student requires additional support and develop strategies to address these needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEN, although this is not essential. What is essential is a genuine passion for helping students succeed and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure they receive the best possible education.
This role offers a temp/perm contract, initially for 13 weeks, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The salary for this position is £21,000-£23,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting the student's educational journey.
