Learning and Development Manager

Lloyd's Register is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to play a key role in shaping a culture of continuous learning. As a central figure in establishing a culture of learning, you will drive employee performance aligned to LR's growth ambitions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the organisation's approach to apprenticeships
- Leading the learning design team as line manager to 2 direct reports providing leadership, coaching, and support where needed
- Support Lloyd Registers career development portal on an ongoing basis focused on continuous improvement and development of resources
- Supporting the senior learning designer and learning designer on business engagement with priority design projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, in line with branding and quality standards
- Working closely with external suppliers where needed to deliver key projects
- Eliminate or minimise employee's exposure to risks by reviewing, regularly, the health and safety risk register, applying appropriate controls, communicating results of risk assessment and ensuring health and safety is considered in the planning and execution of all LR activities.
