Special Needs Education Assistant

About the Role: As a Teaching Support Professional, you will be responsible for supporting pupils with varied SEN and complex needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You will develop an understanding of pupils' different needs and learning styles, build positive relationships with pupils and staff, and contribute to creating a supportive culture in the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with varied SEN and complex needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Develop an understanding of pupils' different needs and learning styles.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Requirements:
- Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare-based Qualification (desired).
- Experience of working with children in schools in the UK.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or willingness to process a new application.
- Two professional child-related references.
Contract Details:
- Pay: Between £90-105 per day.
- Hours: 09:30 - 3:30pm.
- Contract: Full-time until the end of the Academic Year in July 2025.
