Key Responsibilities:

This Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant role involves working with a child who has Autism in a two-form entry primary school in Trafford. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support in the classroom and during extracurricular activities, adapting their approach to meet the individual's needs.

They will work closely with the class teacher to ensure the child receives the necessary support, engaging them in learning activities and differentiating work according to their academic level. Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is essential for this role.

Required Skills:

  • Strong language and literacy skills
  • Ability to engage pupils and differentiate work according to academic levels
  • Clear understanding of phonics
