About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Children's Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with learning and physical disabilities, complex health needs, autism, and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support young people between the ages of 8-18 years old in a residential setting
  • Encourage independence and self-reliance in young people
  • Manage staff teams and budgets to ensure high-quality care standards
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, parents, and professionals
  • Organize and participate in activities and holidays, ensuring risk assessments are followed
Requirements
  • Experience as a Children's Support Worker or Team Leader in a similar social care setting
  • Level 3 NVQ in Children & Young People or equivalent
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Children's Homes Regulations and Safeguarding Knowledge
