Key Information

This is an exciting opportunity to join a therapeutic group of schools as an Educational Director for SEMH. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching and leading within a challenging context and will be able to support the development and implementation of educational strategies that cater to children's individual needs.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of educational strategies that cater to children's individual needs. You will also contribute to raising standards and promoting pride, inspiration and excitement within the group.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the executive principal in ensuring standards are consistently outstanding, in line with ISS and Ofsted expectations.
  • Take a leading role in supporting and maintaining the efficient organisation, timetabling, management and supervision.
  • Organise and manage the school and staff team effectively.
  • Lead and manage behaviour positively in line with the school's policy.
  • Be a first point of senior contact for parents, visitors, staff and pupils.
  • Establish positive, collaborative, professional working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to weekly health and safety reviews and resolve issues collaboratively.
  • Role-model outstanding professionalism and values of the organisation.
  • Contribute to raising standards and promoting pride, inspiration and excitement within the group.
