Job Description:

Dentons seeks a skilled Risk Analyst to join our expanding Europe region team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. They should be organized, reliable, and able to work effectively in a dynamic international environment.

This role plays a crucial part in conflict of interest and compliance checks, risk management, and supporting the firm's risk-based culture.

The position is based in London with remote working options available throughout the UK.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct conflicts checks of varying complexity across sectors, practices, and geographies, including preliminary sanctions issue identification.
  • Liaise with partners, business support teams, and Risk teams to facilitate prompt resolution of commercial and legal conflict issues.
  • Conduct anti-money laundering refresh of due diligence for existing clients.
  • Communicate with Dentons regions to obtain conflict clearances worldwide.
  • Manage confidential information issues, protect complexity, and implement document security processes.
  • Review engagement letters, outside counsel terms, and other engagement terms/contracts.
Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree; legal education preferred.
  • Prior experience analyzing and resolving conflicts of interest and managing confidential information acquired in an international law firm required.
  • Experience with Intapp Open system advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to comprehend commercial concerns arising from global advice provided by a law firm.
  • Methodical approach, prioritization skills, and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong commitment to internal client/customer-facing service.
  • Able to work in an international multicultural environment.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
