In this critical role, you will contribute to protecting millions of dollars in revenue for some of the largest companies in the financial services, insurance, e-commerce, and on-demand services industries.

About the Role:

As a Fraud Data Analyst, you will work with a real-time platform analyzing billions of transactions per month to detect suspicious activity, then apply your analytical expertise to identify patterns and provide actionable insights.

Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be instrumental in shaping policies that safeguard client revenue, enabling you to drive meaningful change in the field.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing complex fraud cases to uncover trends, recommending strategies to mitigate risk, and documenting findings.
  • Enhancing fraud capture rates while minimizing false positives through strategic SQL and Python implementation.
  • Crafting compelling dashboards and reports to showcase solution value and cater to unique customer needs.
  • Presenting data-driven insights to diverse audiences, showcasing your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Developing and delivering customer-centric projects, spanning root cause analysis, policy creation, and deployment.
  • Fostering collaboration with ThreatMetrix teams worldwide to refine best practices in fraud detection and risk management.

Key Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of Python and SQL fundamentals, preferably backed by experience with BI tools like SuperSet, Tableau, or PowerBI.
  • A keen eye for detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work that meets customer expectations.
  • Established track record of crafting impactful external and executive reports and presentations.
  • Background in consulting or relevant roles within the risk, fraud, or payments sectors, with experience in fraud system management.
  • Ability to navigate dynamic environments with rapidly shifting priorities, focusing on key objectives.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Russian, with additional languages spoken across EMEA being a valuable asset.

Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
