The Montcalm Royal London House is one of our flagship hotels, located in a Grade II-listed building on Park Lane. We have recently undergone a sensitive restoration, which has resulted in a beautiful blend of old and new.

Our hotel features a wellness space, community-welcoming public spaces, and a restaurant helmed by an internationally acclaimed chef. We are looking for a skilled and ambitious Duty Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Duty Manager at Montcalm Royal London House, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation of the hotel. This includes managing and supervising departmental managers and staff members, guaranteeing optimum guest relations, and monitoring security.

You will also be responsible for communicating with guests and colleagues at all levels, attending necessary meetings, and conducting meetings with the team. Additionally, you will need to check standards of services, cleanliness, and greet and assist guests during check-in.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the smooth daily operation of the Hotel.
  2. Guarantee optimum guest relations concurrent with managing and supervising departmental managers and staff members.
  3. Ensuring security and monitoring of the hotel.
  4. Be able to communicate on all levels.
  5. Attend necessary meetings and conduct meetings with the team.
  6. Checking on standards of services, and cleanliness, greeting and assisting in the check in of guests and escorting VIP guest to the room.
  7. To constantly strive to please all guests that he may come into contact with.
  8. Being responsible that employees project professionalism and are well trained and provide friendly and efficient service.
  9. Ensure that corporate, divisional and departmental policies and procedures are adhered to at all levels.
  10. Duty Manager liaise closely with other departments and emphasizes on excellent inter-departmental relations considering other departmental procedures and policies.
  11. Delegate authority and responsibilities to direct subordinates without relinquish ultimate responsibility for the operation.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Eligibility:

Candidates must be authorized to live and work in the UK. Currently, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
