Job Overview
We're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team in this rewarding role. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising a team of dedicated Care Assistants, supporting the clinical team, and contributing to the delivery of quality, person-centred care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of Care Assistants to deliver excellent care and support to our residents.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support residents' needs, including medication management, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and external partners to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and regulatory requirements through ongoing training and development opportunities.
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A recognised qualification in Health and Social Care (NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma).
- Experience working in a care setting, preferably with older adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
