About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Assistant to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for supporting the 'Behavioural Manifestations in Adults with Huntington's disease: measurement and assessment of aggression' research project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and line management to a research assistant
  • Project manage studies, including preparation of reports on behalf of the Head of PNC Research Programme
  • Lead on the setup and conduct of a high-quality project, under the direction of the Head of PNC Research Programme
  • Support and contribute to project outputs and attend conferences
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Master's in a health-related subject
  • A minimum of 2 years as a research assistant
  • Proven ability to design research protocols that effectively address the research questions
  • Experience of conducting and writing up literature reviews
  • Experience of qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and write-up and creating study documentation that follows good research governance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, and analysis software, such as NVivo and SPSS
