Job Summary

As a Family Services Specialist I/II, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable populations within the Commonwealth of Virginia. This dynamic position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with individuals, families, and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret laws, policies, and regulations related to social services;
  • Coordinate and administer programs for at-risk youth and families;
  • Conduct assessments and develop service plans tailored to individual needs;
  • Prioritize cases and allocate resources effectively;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field (or equivalent experience);
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, policies, and procedures.

Salary and Benefits
