About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Support Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, fault finding, and automation system maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide automation support and maintain the integrity of automation systems, assisting customers during system breakdowns.
  • Carry out fault finding in automation systems, using logical methods to identify and resolve issues.
  • Implement planned modifications to automation systems, working closely with clients to define required changes.
  • Conduct system health checks on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and network systems.
  • Offer remote and on-site support to customers, ensuring their automation systems operate efficiently.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Must have experience working within a similar role, utilizing PLC programming and high-level fault finding techniques.
  • Should be confident in working with various PLC, HMI, and SCADA brands, with the ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly.
  • Able to understand customer issues, asking relevant questions to gain insight and methodically resolve problems.
Benefits Package

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, along with additional benefits including:

  • £2,000 on-call uplift, plus payment for each day on call.
  • £6,000 car allowance.
