Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Autism Unlimited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with autism, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care plans, finances, appointments, and medication.
  • Develop and implement support plans in collaboration with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
  • Provide personal care and support, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication, and personal hygiene.
  • Drive individuals to appointments, social activities, and other engagements, using your own vehicle.

Requirements:

  • Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or similar disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
