Job Title: Support Worker

Job Type: Part-time

Location: BH6 area

About the Role:

We are seeking a Support Worker to provide support to an individual with Down Syndrome living in their family home. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting independence and assisting with daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Promote independence with bus travel
* Assist with making a shopping list and purchasing items
* Cook main meals safely and independently
* Access the gym
* Engage in a range of household tasks, including laundry, hoovering, and cleaning

Working Hours:

* 4.30-6.30pm on Wednesdays
* 5.30-7.30pm on Thursdays

Requirements:

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
