About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team in prisons. As a Graduate Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and psychologically informed interventions to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide targeted mental health interventions under the supervision of registered mental health professionals.
  2. Develop and implement plans of care to support recovery, advocating for improved choice and access to evidence-based mental health support and therapies.
  3. Engage with patients to provide support and interventions to meet their health and social needs through individual or group work.
  4. Support patients in adopting health promotion strategies that promote healthy lifestyles and self-care.
