About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Endoscopy team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Endoscopy service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures
  • Lead by example and empower nurses and other healthcare professionals to improve care and quality of service
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of new models of care
  • Undertake research and development within the specialist area of endoscopy
  • Assist patients with personal care and provide emotional support in distressing and emotional circumstances
Requirements
  • First-level Registered Nurse qualification
  • Accreditation as an Independent Nurse Endoscopist in Upper and/or Lower GI procedures
  • Experience of working in a clinical leadership role and contributing to service development and improvement
  • Ability to facilitate group supervision and provide leadership and guidance to others
  • Proven skills in leadership, motivating others, and risk management
