Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Category Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing the 3-year category vision for the total Healthcare category, identifying ways to unlock consumption and shopper behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category plans, including range reviews and merchandising strategies, to drive sales growth and category expansion.
  • Collaborate with insight colleagues to deliver in-depth shopper understanding and create robust shopper-based recommendations.
  • Manage and analyze data to inform category decisions and optimize category performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including Buyers, Senior Buyers, and Senior Category Merchandisers.
  • Lead and develop a team of Category Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful category execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform category strategies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in category management, preferably in the FMCG or Healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and category expansion through effective category planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage and analyze complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a team and providing guidance and support to ensure successful category execution.
