Senior Category Development Manager - FMCG Food

£ £65,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Category Development Manager to join our team at a leading global FMCG business. As a key member of our category team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and sustaining key retail relationships to drive category growth and profitability
  • Using insight to influence merchandising and range plans at category reviews
  • Providing detailed analysis and insights on category opportunities to inform business decisions
  • Influencing key internal and external stakeholders to drive category growth and profitability

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have gained category insight/management experience within a recognised FMCG manufacturer and will be ambitious enough to take the next step in their career by joining a progressive FMCG company at a full Senior Category Manager level position.

You must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop category relationships with a retailer, participate in range reviews, promotional planning and developing rationale for new listings.
