Banana Moon Day Nurseries: A Nurturing Environment for Infants

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our Baby Room, providing exceptional care and support to infants aged 3-24 months.

As a Baby Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a secure and stimulating environment that fosters the development of our youngest learners. Your expertise will ensure that our infants receive the highest quality of care, attention, and nurturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Baby Room, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support babies' development and learning
  • Provide personal care, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines, with a focus on creating a sense of security and trust
  • Build strong relationships with parents, ensuring effective communication and providing regular updates on their child's progress and development
  • Supervise and support the development of room staff, providing guidance and training to ensure a cohesive and effective team
  • Ensure compliance with all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our infants
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Experience working with babies aged 0-24 months, with a strong understanding of child development in the early years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with parents and staff
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, with a passion for providing nurturing care and support to infants
