Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated and experienced Baby Room Leader to provide exceptional care and support to infants aged 3-24 months.

As a Baby Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of our youngest learners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the Baby Room to ensure a safe and engaging environment for infants
  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to support cognitive, emotional, and physical development
  • Providing personal care, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines, with a focus on creating a sense of security and trust
  • Building strong relationships with parents through effective communication and regular updates on their child's progress
  • Supervising and supporting the development of room staff, providing guidance and training to ensure a cohesive and high-quality team
  • Ensuring compliance with all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Requirements for this role include:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Experience working with babies aged 0-24 months
  • Strong knowledge of child development in the early years, with a focus on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with parents and staff
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, with a focus on creating a positive and supportive work environment
