About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified speech and language therapist to work at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Canterbury.

Job Description:
  • Early Identification: Support the identification of speech, language, and communication needs at an early stage, ensuring students receive tailored support from the start.
  • Individualised Support: Develop strategies to address individual children's speech, language, and communication needs, promoting their progress and well-being.
  • Family Engagement: Collaborate with families to provide advice and strategies that support children's development at home, fostering strong relationships between parents and educators.
  • Staff Support: Train and guide teaching assistants to deliver effective interventions, enhancing the team's ability to support students with complex needs.

We are looking for someone who can provide individualised support to students with speech, language, and communication needs. Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs and disabilities is preferred.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting the identification of speech, language, and communication needs.
